First Week of School Labs and Activities - Start the first few days of school teaching scientific method, lab safety, lab equipment and separation techniques.

A great day to do Empirical Formulas!
Today was a fantastic day to practice empirical formulas. I love my class and was able to teach them this fantastic lesson. This lesson plan can be purchased by click on the image link below.

Chemical Quantities Unit - Introduce Empirical Formula Calculations then send students to the lab area and do Empirical Formula Activity. The next day Introduce Molecular Formula Calculations and then send students to lab area to do Molecular Formula Activity.
